A birthday at home. A familiar face. A favourite place.
In the past 12
months the Ambulance Wish SA program fulfilled special wishes and created memories that last forever over 28 times. That’s more than one Wish every fortnight, but as the need for palliative care grows, so do the program’s Wish requests, and before June 30, your donation can help create lasting memories.

One of the Wishes fulfilled recently was for Ram.

Ram’s Ambulance Wish: One Last Birthday at Home

Ram’s Wish was to go home and celebrate his birthday with his family. His children welcomed him with a birthday cake, candles, and all his favourite foods. They dressed in matching shirts and surprised him with a handwritten note telling him how much they loved him.
“Words are not enough to express, still heartily thankful to Ambulance Wish SA for this most memorable event to remember for our lifetime!” – Ram’s wife
Ambulance Wish SA exists to give South Australians living with a life-limiting condition access to the planning, coordination, specialist transport, photography, and clinical care they need to fulfil a special wish and create a memory that will last forever. Every wish is always free for the wish recipient and their family.

It is a program Palliative Care SA is deeply proud to lead and one that depends entirely on the generosity of the community to continue. Each wish costs around $2,000 to fulfil, and every individual wish depends on donors to become a reality.

Give a Tax-Deductible Donation Today
This EOFY, Palliative Care SA is calling on individuals, businesses, and community members to support Ambulance Wish SA. A donation before 30 June is fully tax-deductible and goes directly towards fulfilling the next special wish for a South Australian who needs it most.
