Why Join the PCSA Community?

If you want to play a greater role in the purpose and work of the palliative care sector and be better connected to policy, advocacy, and educational opportunities, consider becoming a member of Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA).

Any person with an interest in palliative care is able to apply for membership. This includes health professionals, aged care staff, carers, family members, patients and others wishing to support our work.

When is the PCSA Membership Period?

  • Corporate name and website link on the PCSA website, as well as acknowledged in the PCSA Annual Report

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must agree to the principal purpose of PCSA
  • Organisational/Corporate Affilate Members are able to access the Individual members benefits (other than voting or board nomination rights)
  • Must agree to the principal purpose of PCSA
  • Concessional members must be able to provide proof of their concessional status (if requested)
  • Must be one of the following:
    • Concession Card Holder
    • Retired
    • Not Currently in Employment
    • Full-Time Student
    • Palliative Care Volunteer
  • Must agree to the principal purpose of PCSA
  • Must be a valid Organisation or Corporation with an ABN
  • Assign one person in your Organisation/Corporation as the representative (Key Contact) on behalf of this Organisational Membership level – this person is allocated the singular voting right and is also an Organisational /Corporate Affilate Member for the Organisational/Corporation
  • Organisational/Corporate Member must notify PCSA in writing if their membership creates any potential or actual conflict of interest or risk to PCSA
  • All new Organisational/Corporate Members must be approved by PCSA
  • All Organisational/Corproate Affilate Members must be approved by their representative and have no voting rights, but are able to access other general individual membership benefits
  • Must agree to the principal purpose of PCSA
  • Must be a valid Organisation or Corporation with an ABN

What are the annual membership levels and fees?

Please note, our membership billing period ends on the 30th of June.

Memberships are currently processed manually as we are switching softwares.
