Palliative Care South Australia Position Statements
Current South Australian Position Statements
In 2019, the South Australian Parliament formed a Committee to investigate End of Life Choices for South Australians.
Similar discussions have been or are being held in Victoria, Western Australia, and Queensland.
PCSA’s Position Statement to the Parliamentary Committee outlines the need for adequately resourced and equitably spread palliative care choices to be available before other alternatives can be countenanced.
PCSA also acknowledges that these discussions must be held openly and respectfully across the community and will be a vehicle for promoting such conversations.
