Become a Volunteer

We believe that just as it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to care for the dying.

About Volunteering with PCSA

Palliative Care SA considers the Volunteer Village (VoliVillage) to be the compassionate community that surrounds PCSA.

Our Villagers (the Volunteers within our Volunteer Village) are all ages, cultures, skills, and experiences. Some Villagers are located in Adelaide and others in country SA, some even work remotely. Some volunteer for a long time, while others only a short time. However, they all share a passion for helping our peak body activities that support South Australian’s to live, die and grieve well.

From contributing to policy development to supporting the delivery of programs and projects, volunteers help us to reach and support people in the community and achieve our goals.
