Finance and Operations Manager
Birgit Smith is the Finance and Operations Manager for Palliative Care SA (PCSA). Birgit’s role is responsible for the planning, execution and review of all finance and operational requirements at PCSA. Her work spans a wide range of functions including financial and human resources management, membership administration, funding and grant oversight, compliance and general organisational operations.
With 10 years of experience across the not-for-profit sector, Birgit has developed extensive skills in finance, operations, fundraising and grant management. Originally from Austria, Birgit moved to Adelaide 14 years ago and has since focused her career on strengthening purpose-driven organisations and supporting community wellbeing.
Birgit is committed to contributing her expertise to an organisation that strives to improve community outcomes and ensure high-quality palliative care experiences for all South Australians.
Birgit says her Ambulance Wish would be to go to the beach one last time with her family and enjoy a beautiful sunset together.
