These 10 Compassionate Communities Guides for South Australian regions and ages, have been developed with funding from Country SA PHN and Adelaide PHN, with support from SA Health and Carers SA.
PCSA is regularly asked: Where do we start when nurturing a Compassionate Community?
These Guides provides localised recommendations for each community, with initiatives identified BY their local citizens FOR their community.
We hope these will assist the Councils, Services, Volunteer Organisations, Community Groups and Citizens to ‘Fly in Formation’ when supporting their community members who are experiencing a serious illness, dying, grief or caregiving.
