Joy Nugent has been awarded an OAM “for service to nursing, particularly palliative care”.
Joy Nugent has been awarded an OAM “for service to nursing, particularly palliative care.” Joy is director and founder of charity organisation Soul Talks, which exists to remove death anxiety and promote living wills.
A registered nurse, Joy is also co-founder and honorary life member of the Mary Potter Foundation. Joy has written numerous books on end-of-life care, including– As Good as Goodbyes Get – was published in 2017.
Joy strongly promotes “soul-centered care” as well as person centered care.
