Palliative Care Connect: An exciting new statewide palliative care navigation program
PCSA was delighted to attend and present at the SA Government Palliative Care Connect program launch on the 1st February 2024.
This exciting new initiative, launched on the 1st February by SA Health Minister Chris Picton MP, is delivered by SA Health (in partnership with a number of NGOs) and supported by funding from Australian Government is a FREE statewide palliative care navigation program which will provide connections and information to empower decision making for South Australian who are seeking information and support for themselves; their loved ones; or friends from the time of diagnosis of a life-limiting illness, through to bereavement.
PCSA is delighted to collaborate with Volunteering SA&NT, Southern Volunteering SA Inc and Northern Volunteering SA Inc to deliver a new Palliative Care Volunteering (SA) project under this Palliative Care Connect program.
