We hosted a booth and facilitated a workshop on Palliative Care Volunteering, welcoming thoughtful questions and genuine interest throughout the day.

This year’s theme, “You are one, know one or will be one”, reminds us that caring is a shared experience. Whether through personal connection, professional support or future roles, we all walk alongside carers.

The occasion was celebrated with a special reception at Government House, hosted by His Excellency the Honourable Chief Justice Chris Kourakis, Deputy Governor of South Australia. 

We hosted an information stall and connected with visitors throughout the day, sharing details about volunteering opportunities and upcoming training sessions..

Across three vibrant days, our team engaged in hundreds of meaningful conversations with community members, fellow booth holders, and local MPs. We shared stories, listened deeply, and explored how we can better support each other through life’s final chapter.
