2025 theme: Nobody Knows
Palliative Care SA was proud to deliver a PalliLEARN session titled “What is Palliative Care?” in collaboration with the Muslim Women’s Association of South Australia. The session was facilitated by our CEO, who was delighted to engage with attendees in a warm and welcoming environment.
The event provided an opportunity to explore the principles of palliative care, dispel common myths, and highlight the importance of culturally sensitive support for individuals and families facing life-limiting illness. Attendees brought insightful questions and shared valuable perspectives, enriching the conversation and deepening mutual understanding.
We extend our sincere thanks to Palliative Care Australia for supporting this initiative, and to the Muslim Women’s Association for their openness and hospitality. These community-led sessions are vital in fostering awareness, compassion, and access to care across diverse communities in South Australia.
