PCSA CEO A/Prof Shyla Mills recently welcomed Dr Chris Hatherly to Adelaide for a visit focused on connecting with key organisations and leaders across South Australia’s palliative care sector.

During the visit, Chris met with teams from Central Adelaide Palliative Care Services and Southern Adelaide Palliative Care Services to learn more about the services and support being provided to patients and families. He also spent time with the PCSA team and joined discussions with SA Health alongside A/Prof Kate Swetenham, chair of Palliative Care Nurses Australia (PCNA).

The visit provided an opportunity to share insights, strengthen relationships and highlight the expertise and dedication of South Australia’s palliative care workforce. It also reinforced a shared commitment to working together to improve access to high-quality palliative care for all Australians.
